Accuver Adds Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+ to Its Gigabit LTE Testing Solutions

Accuver, the world’s leading provider of wireless test and measurement solutions, has added Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ to the lineup of Gigabit LTE devices that it supports. Accuver drive testing software XCAL-M, benchmarking chassis XCAL-MO III, handheld tool XCAL-Solo, in-building measurement tool XCAL-Harmony, and data analysis tool XCAP all support both variants of Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+, i.e. the one with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset with X16 modem and the one with Samsung Exynos 8895 chipset.

5G enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB) and its immersive use cases such as VR (virtual reality) will demand very fast data rates and low latency. Gigabit LTE is designed to deliver fiber-optic-like internet speed to the wireless networks today to meet those expanding requirements. Accuver tools support the performance measurement of 4CA and 5CA, 4x4 MIMO on 2 carriers, 256-QAM downlink, 64-QAM uplink, and other Gigabit LTE features.
