Background:
Opportunity to join an industry leader in the field of wireless/cellular test & measurement serving telecoms operators, vendors, and engineering services providers. Would suit an outgoing technical SME who enjoys engaging with new people, working in a dynamic and growing environment and wants to transition into a new business development and commercial sales role.
Responsibilities include:
·
Establishing new relationships
with prospective clients, developing understanding of their current/anticipated
technical pain points.
·
Nurturing and maintaining
regular dialog with existing and future clients identifying when they are
interested in progressing to more detailed engagement.
·
Driving sales of new business
in Tier 2/3 accounts, maintaining accurate forecasts, sales plans, quarterly
account presentations, pipeline and contacts in CRM and articulating
fundamental reasons why clients need and want to engage.
·
Support existing sales staff on
Tier 1 accounts securing client technical approval of Accuver’s solutions
through application/demonstration of product fit in solving their key RAN and
E2E optimisation/performance issues.
·
Company representation at trade
shows and industry events.
·
Support marketing team with
technical content and product application knowledge developing white papers
pertinent to topical industry challenges.
Required:
·
Working knowledge (1-3 years’
experience) of 4G/ 5G Networks, cellular principles, analytics,
signalling/protocols with particular emphasis on the RAN
·
Familiarity with telecoms test
& measurement eco-system
·
Experience dealing with vendors
or some pre-sales/business development exposure plus desire to develop
commercial selling skills.
·
An engaging and inquisitive
nature that actively enjoys reaching out to new people and building
professional relationships.
·
Excellent written,
presentation, and phone/verbal communication skills (English plus ideally 2nd
language (German or Spanish)), strong numeracy & analytical background
·
Ability to travel domestically
and internationally (upto 50% of time)
·
Ability to commute to Accuver’s
Watford office on a regular basis, typically 1-2 days a week.
