Accuver, a company specializing in the development and supply of mobile communication equipment, announced its public safety network test solution to Europe market.

Accuver has completed the process of supplying equipment for testing the public safety network to the European market. The public safety communication
network (PS-LTE) is a wireless communication network that can be used exclusively by firefighters, police, and soldiers in the event of a disaster such as natural
disasters or terrorism. Reliability and stability are considered to be key factors.

Accuver plans to provide a solution to the stability test equipment of public safety network consisting of Massive MIMO Air Interface Simulator (MAIS) and mobile
communication test equipment XCAL-MTS. In particular, the XCAL-MTS has the advantage of implementing a dedicated application protocol fordisaster prevention
communication network installed in the terminal and simultaneously controlling and testing a plurality of terminals having 300 or more terminals at the same
time.

통신데이터 분석하는 ‘OPTis-5G’개발… 재난안전통신망 시험 장비, 유럽 공급 시작

이동통신 장비 개발·공급 전문업체인 ㈜이노와이어리스가 5G NR 용 무선망 시험솔루션을 국내 최초로 내놨다고 8일 밝혔다.

‘OPTis-5G’로 이름 붙여진 이 무선망 시험 솔루션은 측정 대상 지역 경로상의 통신 데이터를 실시간으로 수집·분석해 이동통신 네트워크의 현황과 문제점을 알려준다. 분석된 정보는 이동통신 네트워크의 목표 성능과 실제 서비스 제공 품질을 비교하여 서비스 성능 향상 및 효율적인 운용을 위한 기초 자료의 생성에 사용된다.

이노와이어리스 관계자는 “5G NR 용 무선망 시험솔루션은 범세계적인 5G 이동통신 상용화 추세에 효과적으로 대응할 수 있는 제품”이라며 “퀄컴과 삼성의 칩셋을 지원함으로써 범용성을 확보했다”고 설명했다.

이노와이어리스는 5G 무선망최적화장비 외에도 통신 서비스의 품질 안정과 향상을 위한 ▲자동 시험 솔루션 ▲5G 통신 빅데이터 분석 솔루션 ▲5G 기지국 시험 장비 등을 개발·공급하고 있다.

아울러 이노와이어리스는 재난안전통신망 시험용 장비를 유럽 시장에 공급하기 위한 절차를 마쳤다. 재난안전통신망(PS-LTE)은 자연재해나 테러와 같은 국가 은 재난 발생 시 소방·경찰·군인 등이 전용으로 사용 가능하도록 구축된 무선통신망으로, 신뢰성과 안정성이 핵심 요소로 꼽힌다.

이노와이어리스는 정비정보시스템(MAIS)과 이동통신 시험 장비인 XCAL-MTS 등으로 구성된 재난안전통신망 안정성 시험 장비 솔루션을 공급할 방침이다. 특히 XCAL-MTS에는 단말에 설치된 재난안전통신망 전용 애플리케이션 프로토콜을 구현, 동시에 300대 이상의 다수 단말을 중앙에서 제어하고 시험할 수 있다는 장점을 갖췄다.

곽영수 연구소장은 “5G 상용화가 시작된 만큼 안정적인 선행 인프라를 적극 활용해 제품의 성능 개선과 다각화를 달성하고, 변화하는 시장 흐름에 유연하게 대응할 수 있는 경쟁력을 확보할 것”이라며 “사업자의 다양한 통신환경에 맞도록 차별화한 시험장비 솔루션을 통해 관련 사업에 박차를 가할 계획”이라고 말했다.
